T.G.I.F.

I recently had Jenny take some new pictures of the kids in the Haymarket. Although it was really hot that night, we enjoyed the photo shoot. The kids especially enjoyed the pictures she took of them on the train. I had bribed them with a trip to the ice cream store if they cooperated for Jenny. Carson had also received a Target gift card in the mail for his birthday that day so I told him I would take him to Target if he cooperated, as well. As expected, he was all smiles and she got so many great pictures of him. Of course, I completely followed through and we headed to Target after we had ice cream at Ivanna Cone with Jenny. I am all about bribing my kids to get good professional pictures! In any event, I plan to post more pictures from this shoot next week. Thanks again, Jenny, for another fun photo shoot.

On an unrelated note, I survived my week of single parenting and also working a full 40 hour work week after having two long weekends in a row! Cory, the kids and I will be participating in the Knox County Relay for Life tonight in memory of Cory's sister, Lorrie, and in honor of all of our other family members who have or have had cancer. We will then head back on Saturday for a birthday party and a T-Ball game on Sunday.
